Last week, on Black Friday, a new clothing line was launched by the people that brought you the Mammut Bouldering Championships and all the other high profile comps NE2C is famous for. Here's the word from Pete Ward:

"As many of you know, we at NE2C have been working hard since July on the launch of our new clothing label, Dawn + Relentless. We are pleased to announce that today, Dawn and Relentless is live at www.dawnandrelentless.com .

 Dawn and Relentless has been a compelling project for us because, at our roots, we're artists. That's our thing. Some of us are climbers, some are musicians and some simply enjoy working harder just to stay in motion. But we all share one thing: Passion. Whatever we're doing we eat it, we breathe it, we think about it when we're supposed to be doing something else. Maybe that passion consumes our lives, maybe we're a little overboard, but you know what, we don't really care. It makes us happy, it keeps us healthy and we love doing it. We are Dawn and Relentless.

The truth is we never do anything the "Right" way, maybe we take a few lumps, but we're always more comfortable finding our own path and we think Dawn and Relentless reflects that reality. We're from the outdoor world and nature infuses our designs, but outdoors clothing has never really done it for us. We love the shapes and forms that mother nature creates, but we're from New York City and Bangkok and Boston and we love urban wear too. If you can't wear it to the club, it doesn't get much run from us.

For our 2008 Holiday launch, Dawn+Relentless is making its mark with the most basic article of clothing, the T-shirt. Our shirts are immediately distinguishable from any other normal T-shirt... Our shirts start with our artwork. Each design has an inspiration that's truly from us and what we value.
· Our shirts are produced through a proprietary process that pre-shrinks each shirt and gives them their distinct stonewashed look. Yeah, they're nice and beat up and broken in, and the permanent wrinkle that is in our shirts make them stretchable so they hug and accentuate many different body types.
· Most of our shirts feature hand-sewn accents such as beads, stitching, or sequins just to make it even more unique and luxurious. We're proud of our shirts, and we hope you love them. Please let us know any feedback you have, we've love to hear from you.
